No Garry, No!!!!!!!

The upcoming movie New Year's Eve. I know these Garry Marshall films are supposed to be fun in getting all of these big stars together, but it's tough to get into these characters and really care about them when so many are involved. I understand it's supposed to be light, fun, etc...but you don't have any "character actor" roles being played. Even in movies where big stars will play a supporting, character actor role, they give the film heart and substance. I want emotion involved with these Garry Marshall films. I want heart. It can be any emotion or a wide array of emotions, but give it to us. Give us some substance. Ocean's Eleven is a prime example of how to have big stars and intertwine them beautifully within the story, while each actor playing his part in the film.
